In the Beyonce advert there is a specific colour theme used, which is a palette filled with a variety of different shades of red. The colour red links to the theme of power, seduction and wealth. This'll also make them feel like they are in control and they would gain confidence over this power. Therefore, this advertisement is trying to communicate with the audience by letting them know that if they were to buy and wear this new perfume, they would feel powerful, beautiful and wealthy/ rich.
Another aspect of the advert, that catches the audience's attention is the writing that states "catch the fever". This can be communicative in many different way to the audience, since it can link to many different aspects of heat. One of these aspects are the actual name of the product, which is called HEAT. This showcases the branding of the product and its meaning. Another version is the link to temperature. A similar link to the idea of temperature is the word 'fever', since when people get a fever, they tend to have a temperature and get very hot. A final link to heat is that when they are expressing for the audience to catch the fever they want them to use the product and feel hot in it.
Lastly, the focus on the character, Beyonce, who is a talented, famous celebrity, creates a positive impact on the ad. This is because, she is one of the best elements shown since, she would make the product look interesting and more popular as of her own popularity. The advert affects the target audience by using a well-known celebrity to endorse it. This'll attract the audience to buying the product. Additionally, the lighting is used to create a focal point. The brightness is very low, which makes the audience focus on the celebrity, which is showcased as the focal point of the ad.
